Burnley made their third signing of the January transfer window, with Mark Randall arriving on loan from Arsenal.
The highly rated 18-year-old midfielder has joined the Clarets until the end of the season and made his debut in the 2-1 defeat to West Brom on February 2nd.
Randall was on the bench at Turf Moor for Burnley's FA cup tie with Arsenal in January and also played in Arsenal's 5-1 cup win over the Clarets' youth team, scoring the Gunners' second goal.
Randall has already had a taste of first-team football with Arsenal, making two appearances this season.
Creative, composed and with remarkable vision, he was an integral part of both the under-18s and reserves last season. The talented youngster was the only player to start all 18 games for the second string and also scored four goals in 17 youth-team games.
His performances throughout the 2006/07 campaign earned him a place in the first-team squad for the final day trip to Portsmouth and also saw him sign professional terms with the club.
Randall will wear the number 10 shirt at Turf Moor.
