While fishing, a large fish may appear in a fishing spot and eat the player's fishing equipment, then spit it somewhere nearby, usually 3 to 10 squares away. When this happens, the player has to find their equipment quickly before someone else sees it and takes it. When the player has found the equipment, then they can go back to fishing. It should also be noted that when this event happens, the fishing spot will usually move to a new location.

• If you use the Barbarian Fishing Method For Harpooning, you will never get this even.
• The Posh fountain built using the construction skill has two small big fish on it, spraying water from their mouths.
