The Greater Peterborough Partnership

The Greater Peterborough Partnership (GPP) is the body that unites the many and varied organisations involved in the future development of Peterborough to enable them to work together with a common purpose and a shared vision: a bigger and better Peterborough.

The Board brings together senior representatives of the public, private, voluntary, community and faith sectors. It is responsible for the development of Peterborough's Community Strategy which sets the long term vision and priorities for the future development of our city and the surrounding rural areas. It also acts as the governance and performance management body for the Local Area Agreement which is the three year action plan, agreed with Central Government, that sets out the outcomes and targets we aim to achieve within that period, to support the ambition of the Community Strategy.

The Board meets quarterly and oversees the work of the eight thematic partnerships.

The Chair of the GPP is John Bridge OBE, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Chambers of Commerce. The Vice-Chair is Marco Cereste, a prominent local businessman and City Councillor and Chair of the Primary Care Trust.
