New Apple Pro App “Aperture” Uses WebKit

Apple’s new post-production tool for professional photographers, Aperture, joins the growing list of innovative applications that use WebKit. Aperture hasn’t quite shipped yet but in the meantime check out the Gallery and Journal features on the Aperture Quick Tour. Take a look at the videos and screenshots, it looks really spiffy.

Nightly Builds

You can download nightly builds of WebKit as well as WebKit+SVG from the following URL.
http://nightly.webkit.org/builds/
The icons that you see on the site are what will actually appear in your dock, so the gold-rimmed icon and the gold-rimmed icon with the SVG label can be used to distinguish these builds from your built-in Safari install.
