Cundiff et. al. 2007. Relation of Omeg-3 Fatty Acids Intake to Other Dietary Factors Known to Reduce Coronary Heart Disease Risk
OliVitas slogan "One heart - one life - If you are concerned about your heart, you should consume seafood. If you need an alternative, OliVita is the right choice" gets support from a recent publication in The American Journal of Cardiology writing:
"In conclusion, these findings provide evidence that associations observed in studies suggesting a benefit of fish or long chain omega-3 fatty acids may be due to a convergence of greater fish intakes with an overall healthier dietary pattern rather than with a specific effect of long chain omega-3 fatty acids".
If you eat fish you get all the omega-3, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and other trace materials you need in one package. If you consume plain omega-3 products, you will not get the same benefit.
