Paul started refereeing in 1978 and progressed through Youth and Isthmian Leagues before he was appointed to the national list of assistant referees in 1993 and then the referees list in 2000. He was an assistant referee at the 2000 Worthington Cup final and The Football League Play-Off semi-finals in the same year.

 

 

Martin AtkinsonMartin Atkinson (W Yorkshire)

Martin started his refereeing career when he was 16 in the local leagues and progressed to The Football League assistant referees list in 1998 before being promoted to the select group of assistant referees in 2000. He refereed the FA County Youth Cup Final in 2003 and was promoted to the national list of referees at the start of the 2003/04 season. Martin was an assistant referee in the Worthington Cup semi-final 2nd leg in 2003 and represented England at the Dallas International Youth Tournament in 2004.

 

 

Neale BarryNeale Barry (N Lincolnshire)

Neale started refereeing in 1974 in Scunthorpe and progressed through the Lincolnshire and Northern Counties East League before making it onto The Football League assistant referee list in 1990 and the referees list three years later. Neale made the select group referees list in 2001 after spending four years as a Premiership referee. He has been appointed to 26 European games and refereed the 1997 Division One Play-Off final between Crystal Palace and Sheffield United, the Charity Shield and FA Trophy Final in 2002, and was also appointed the 4th official when England met Brazil at Wembley in May 2000.

Anthony was promoted to The Football League list of assistant referees in 1993 and progressed to the referees list in 1996. He was an assistant referee at the 1996 European Championship game between Germany and the Czech Republic as well as the 1995 Community Shield and the 1996 FA Cup Final between Manchester United and Liverpool.

Richard started refereeing in Northampton and progressed through the feeder leagues before being promoted to the national list of referees in 1999. He refereed the 2004 Division Two Play-Off final between Brighton and Hove Albion and Bristol City.

  

 

 

Steve BennettSteve Bennett (Kent)

Steve started refereeing in 1984 and moved through the Winstonlead Kent League, Isthmian League and GM Vauxhall Conference before becoming a Football League linesman in 1992. He became a Premier League assistant referee in 1993 and was appointed to the FIFA list two years later. He joined The Football League referees list in 1995 before  being promoted to the Premier League list and finally the FIFA list in 2001. Steve has refereed many important matches in his career including Champions League and International ties as well as the Division One Play-Off Final in 2003 between Sheffield United and Wolves. He was appointed to referee the Carling Cup Final between Chelsea and Liverpool in 2005.

 

Russell Booth (Nottinghamshire)

Russell started refereeing in 1985 and moved through the Central Midland and contributory leagues. He then progressed onto the national list of assistant referees before being promoted to the referees list in 2004. Russell was an assistant referee in a Worthington Cup semi-final tie in 2003 and was Fourth Official at the FA County Youth Cup in 2003 and the Pontin's Cup Final in 2004.

 

 

Carl BoyesonCarl Boyeson (E Yorkshire)

Carl started officiating in 1992 and progressed through the league ladder before being promoted to The Football League assistant referees list in 1996 and the Premier League list in 2000. He was promoted to The Football League referees list in 2002. Carl refereed an FA Vase semi-final 2nd leg in 2001 and was Fourth Official at the FA County Youth Cup Final in 2002.

Lee CableLee Cable (Surrey)

 

Lee started refereeing in 1982 and progressed through the local leagues before being promoted to the national list of assistant referees in 1991. He was promoted to the Premier League list in 1994 and became a Football League referee in 1998. He was a 4th official at Wembley when England played Switzerland in 1996 and has also been an assistant referee in several UEFA Cup games.

Mark started refereeing in Newcastle in 1990 and made a quick progression through the ranks to the National list in 2000 and the select group of referees in 2004. The 2004 3rd Division Play-Off final referee has also performed Fourth Official duties at the FA Trophy Final and 2002 3rd Division Play-Off final.

Mark started refereeing in Blackpool and progressed through the West Lancashire and the Northern Premier Leagues before being promoted to the national list of assistant referees in 1995 and the referees list in 1998. He has refereed the Pontins League Cup Final and the FA Youth and Sunday Cup finals.

 

 

Brian CursonBrian Curson (Leicestershire)

Brian started refereeing in 1985 and progressed through the Leicestershire and Southern Leagues before being promoted onto the national list of assistant referees in 1996 and finally to the referees list in 2000. He was a fourth official at the FA Vase final in 2003.  Brian has been appointed to referee the 2005 LDV Vans Trophy Final between Southend United and Wrexham.

Phil started refereeing in 1990 and progressed through the local leagues before being promoted to the panel list in 1998 and finally the national list in 2000. Phil was a 4th official at the FA Youth Cup final in 1996 and was also an official at the FA Sunday cup final in 2002 and the FA Vase final in 2004.

Paul began refereeing in 1972 and progressed through the Leicestershire senior leagues and the Southern leagues before being promoted to The Football League assistant referees and referees lists. He was also an official in the Premier League for three seasons and has been involved in many major games in his career including various European appointments as 4th official and assistant referee. Paul was also a 4th official at the 2001 Worthington Cup final and refereed in the Play-Off semi-finals in 2001.

Phil DowdPhilip Dowd (Staffordshire)

Steve started refereeing in Bristol and progressed through the Gloucester County and Western leagues to The Football League assistant referees list in 1986. He was promoted to the FIFA assistant referees list and the Football League referees list in 1992. The 2001 FA Cup Final referee progressed to the Premier League in 1995 and then on to the FIFA referees list in 1996. Steve also refereed the FA Trophy Final in 2001 and League Cup semi-finals in both 2002 and 2004.

 

 

Darren Drysdale (Lincolnshire)

Darren started refereeing in 1988 and progressed through the Northern Alliance and Northern Premier League before being promoted to The Football League assistant referees list in 1996 and the Premier League list in 1998. He was promoted to the FIFA assistant referees list in 2000 and made The Football League referees list in 2004. Darren was an assistant referee at the 2000 FA Cup final.

 

Andy D'Urso (Essex)

Andy started refereeing in 1979 and progressed to the national list of assistant referees in 1990. He was promoted to the national list of referees in 1994 before moving on to the Premier League in 1999 and the select group list in 2001. Andy has refereed many high profile games in his career including the Charity Shield between Liverpool and Manchester United in 2001 as well as numerous FA Cup quarter finals and a League Cup semi-final in 2002.

 

Eddie Evans (Gtr Manchester)

Edwin began refereeing in 1977 and progressed through the Manchester and North West Counties leagues before being promoted to the national list of assistant referees in 1994 and then to the referees list in 2002. He refereed the FA Women's Cup final in 2002 and the Avon Insurance Vup final in the same year.

 

Mick Fletcher (Worcestershire)

Mick started refereeing in 1981 and progressed through the lower league to the Football League assistant referees list in 1990 and the referees list in 1995. He refereed the 2003 FA Vase final and a 3rd Division Play-Off final in 1998 and has been a fourth official in the UEFA Champions League.

 

Christopher Foy (Merseyside)

Christopher was promoted to the Premier League referees list in 2001 and worked as Fourth Official for the England v Italy friendly at Elland Road in 2002 and the FA Trophy in 2001.

 

Kevin Friend (Leicestershire)

He was an assistant referee at the LDV Vans Trophy area final between Bristol City and Cambridge United in 2003 and has also been involved in the divisional Play-Offs as an assistant referee.

 

Dermot Gallagher (Oxfordshire)

The 1996 FA Cup Final referee made The Football League assistant referees list in 1985 before progressing to the Premier League list in 1992 and the FIFA referees list in 1994. Dermot refereed the FA Trophy and Charity Shield finals in 1995 as well as the Under-20 World Cup Final in the same year in Qatar.

Andy started refereeing in 1987 and progressed through the local leagues in Birmingham before being promoted to The Football League assistant referees list in 1994 and the referees list in 1997. He refereed the LDV Vans Trophy Area Final 2nd leg between Bristol City and Cambridge United in 2002 and has also refereed in the divisional Play-Offs.

 

Grant Hegley (Hertfordshire)

Grant started refereeing in 1980 and progressed through the contributory leagues before being promoted to The Football League assistant referees list in 1992 and the referees list in 2001. He was as assistant referee at the 1999 Auto Windscreens Shield final between Millwall and Wigan and was involved in the 2000 divisional Play-Offs as an assistant referee.

 

Keith Hill (Hertfordshire)

Keith qualified as a referee in 1984 and progressed through the lower leagues before being promoted to The Football League assistant referees list in 1994 and the Premier League list in 1996. He was appointed a Football League referee in 1998 and represented England the Dallas Cup in 2000. Keith was also appointed assistant referee at the FA Youth Cup final 2nd leg in 1997 and has been involved in the divisional Play-Offs.

Eddie started refereeing in 1991 and moved through the Northern leagues before being promoted to the national list of referees in 2002. He has been assistant referee in the divisional Play-Offs and at the FA Youth cup final in 2002.

 

Michael Jones (Cheshire)

Michael started refereeing in 1983 and progressed through the Chester and District leagues before being promoted to The Football League assistant referees list in 1992 and then the referees list four years later. He was the fourth official at the 2004 Carling Cup final between Middlesbrough and Bolton Wanderers and also refereed the LVD Vans Trophy Area Final between Blackpool and Sheffield Wednesday in the same year.

 

Philip Joslin (Nottinghamshire)

Philip started refereeing in 1979 and progressed through the lower leagues and was promoted to the national list of assistant referees in 1992 before achieving Premier League and FIFA status in 1995. He is now approaching his sixth season as a national list referee. Philip has been involved in many high profile games during his career including an appointment to the FA Cup final in 1998 and the European Championship finals in 1996 as an assistant referee.

 

Alan Kaye (W Yorkshire)

Alan started refereeing in Bradford in 1981 before being appointed as a Football League assistant referee in 1993. He was promoted to the Premier League as an assistant referee in 1996 before becoming a national list referee in 1999. Alan was the referee for the 2003 Division 3 Play-Off final between Bournemouth and Lincoln City and was also the fourth official at the Worthington Cup final in the same year.

 

Trevor Kettle (Berkshire)

Barry started refereeing in 1978 and progressed through the Southern League to the National list of referees in 1995. He became a Premier League referee in 1999 and joined the select group in 2001. Barry refereed the FA Youth Cup Final in 2002 and in the Football League Play-Offs on 2000.

 

Graham Laws (Tyne & Wear)

Peter was appointed a Football League referee in 1998 and took charge of the LDV Vans Trophy Final in 2003 as well as refereeing in the Division 1 and 3 Play-Offs in the same year. He was also an assistant referee at the 1996 FA Cup Final between Manchester United and Liverpool and also at the European Championships in 1996.

Howard refereed the 2003 Division 2 Play-Off final between Cardiff and QPR as well as Division 1 and 2 Play-Off semi-finals in the same year.

Alan was added to the Football League referee's list in 1995 and moved to the Premier League list in 1999. He refereed the 2002 Community Shield between Arsenal and Manchester United in 2002 and has also refereed League Cup semi-final's and was a 4th official at the 2000 FA Cup Final.

 

Iain Williamson (Berkshire)

Iain qualified as a referee in 1991 and after progressing through the Ryman league he was promoted to the national list of referees in 2002. He was an assistant referee at the 2002 LDV Trophy area final and fourth official at the 2004 divisional Play-Offs.

 

Andy Woolmer (Northamptonshire)

Andy was promoted to the Southern league in 1989 and then to The Football League assistant referees list in 1994. He was promoted to the national list of referees in 2004. Andy refereed the FA Sunday cup final in 2004 and an FA Trophy semi-final in the same year as well as being an assistant referee at the League Cup final in 2003 and the Community Shield in the same year.

 

Kevin Wright (Cambridgeshire)

Kevin started refereeing in 1995 and was promoted to the national list of assistant referees in 2000 and promoted to the referees list in 2003. He refereed the 2003 FA Sunday cup final and an FA Trophy semi-final in 2004.
