Then there is that new currency that comes from the 80 dollar a barrel oil price, maybe call it “The American Peso”… when supply is depending on a monopoly of refining capacity (or non capacity) of fat cat oil buddies who can barely wait for the ice to melt in their Bourbon and branch before they rush off and stick an oil rig or two up in someone’s Artic seabed assets… The best that money can buy.

(CBS) An almost hidden driveway in suburban Portland, Ore., doesn’t lead to another million-dollar mansion, but instead, to an old house, a six-acre garden and priceless project: saving part of the world’s fragile ecosystem one plant at a time.

“Not since the age of dinosaurs have things been going extinct at the rate they are now,” says Ed Guerrant, director of the Berry Botanical Center.

The dinosaurs couldn’t be saved, but the pale larkspur, Western lily and Nelson’s checker-mallow can… by collecting their seeds before they go extinct.

“We can store seeds and keep them alive for tens, hundreds, maybe even thousands of years,” says Guerrant.

The seeds are stored at the Berry Botanic Seed Bank, which is a freezer inside a fire proof vault.

Now we are at the crossroads of another great extinction point… There are those who se and can read these signs as only ominous… Then there are those trapped by their greed who only see the dollar signs and more oil on the sea floor upon the doorstep of human civilization’s destruction

Hope some at CBS news is left to do justice to the flowers better than their efforts at the top of the world maybe an update perhaps?

There will be a price to pay for this, as it is as I stated earlier either “stupid by design” or the IPCC is clearly involved with criminal neglect of the facts. If the fossil records are correct (why one would argue with a stop sign is beyond me but here yet another piece of the puzzle comes to light and from every indication understand we do not have the luxury of time). There is massive amounts of heat more than enough are so it seems from data gleaned from NASA observations of Jupiter’s moons.

Maybe 80 dollars a barrel is really good in some twisted fashion as it pushes this nation into an area of hyper inflation and deflation a twin economic crisis beyond the simple damage already evident in the housing market. At least oil at 80 dollars pushes people to search for alternatives forms of energy… In the meantime There is little doubt that kinetic energy of the gravitational stress is huge and off the chart by magnitudes that we hazard to make an educated guess but from the data cited by NASA and others make it is clear that our civilization would not likely survive… The carbon data from the Antarctic ice cores show a profound increase in human production of carbon gas since the industrial revolution (circa 1900 or so) make no mistake the data maybe interpreted many ways that the final conclusions are dismal leaves little doubt… without an intervention by NASA we have a problem. However The Paris accords are not going to do the nation or the world much good but give a false sense of security.
