NEWPORT NEWS – A man is wanted on five charges of sex crimes against children.
Police say Jarrad Andrew Diehl inappropriately touched at 13-year-old girl while she stayed at a friend’s home on March 3.
During the investigation of that case, police determined he did the same thing to an eight-year-old girl in June 2007.
According to police spokesman Lou Thurston, Diehl is a friend of the two families involved.
Diehl faces one count each of animate object penetration, carnal knowledge, sexual battery, indecent liberties with a child and aggravated sexual battery from the two incidents, police note.
Diehl, 26, is 5’6” tall and weighs 130 pounds and is known to have a moustache and dreadlocks.
If you can help police locate him, call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
