Each year, the USGA conducts 13 national championships,
10 of which are strictly for amateurs. The USGA also conducts three
biennial international team competitions, the Walker Cup, Curtis
Cup and World Amateur Team Championships (men and women) as well
as the State Team Championships, which also is a biennial event
for men and women.
