Paradox Interactive is working on a download-only expansion for its horror series, Penumbra.

Requiem, as it's called, is said tie up loose ends from previous instalments. It delves deeper into the world of the Tuurngait infection and personalities from the previous two games, Overture and Black Plague.
"We believed very strongly in this team and their skills from the start and now that the Penumbra series has become such a hit worldwide, those who doubted have been proven wrong," gushed Fredrik Wester, exec VP for Paradox. "Therefore it was a no-brainer for us to pick this expansion."
Tucked away at the bottom of the release was word that Penumbra: Requiem "will be a download only expansion and available exclusively via GamersGate".
