Washington, Apr 17 (ANI): The United States on Wednesday has said it is still working hard and is very committed to the Indo-US civilian nuclear deal.
During a press briefing, White House Press Secretary Dana Perino said: ”We’re still working on it. We’re still working on it, and very committed to it (nuclear deal).”
On Tuesday, speaking at the Conservative Think Tank - The Heritage Foundation in Washington, Congress Party spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi has said: “It is very, very important to emphasise that India-US relations are multi-dimensional, multi-layered and multi- faceted. The Indo-US nuclear deal is not the beginning nor is it going to be the end.
He has also said that sacrificing the government for the deal would be like “death without martyrdom”, while observing that “nobody can put a timeline” on the successful conclusion of the Indo-US nuclear accord. (ANI)
