FEAR FACTORY Singer's ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS: Debut Album Details Revealed - Dec. 11, 2007
ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS, the band featuring FEAR FACTORY frontman Burton C. Bell and John Bechdel (MINISTRY, KILLING JOKE, FALSE ICONS), will release its full-length debut, "Numinosum", on February 19, 2008 via MINISTRY frontman Al Jourgensen's 13th Planet Records

Commented Bell: "I am very excited about this. Finally, after five years of diligence and prayer, my patience has paid off."

He added, "I have booked three shows in the Northeast, trying to book one more. I am planning the shows around the release date of 'Numinosum'."

"Numinosum" track listing:

01. Ascendant
02. Evading
03. Residual Presence
04. Canon For My Beloved
05. Moon Shine
06. Becoming Mars
07. On The River
08. Violent Morning
09. Like Falling Snow
10. Sounds Of Silence
11. Quintessence

ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS' debut five-song EP, "Iconoclast", was made available in 2005 exclusively through the band's web site.

"Iconoclast" was released in two formats: a 12", full-color gatefold on heavy black vinyl in a limited-edition pressing of 500; and as an enhanced CD, with a limited pressing of 1,000. The CD included the five songs — "Evading", "Residual Presence", "On The River", "Moonshine", and "Quintessence" — as well as a video for "On The River", a rare interview with Burton and John, and links to web sites. The CD and vinyl featured different artwork and photographs by Burton. Included with every purchase was an autographed promotional photo.

Oh sweet, I really liked that little EP, I'm glad they are getting to make a full album. Hopefully it'll be pretty cool.

I don't mind the music but Burton has horrible clean vocals. Usually they're covered up by the backing of Fear Factory and layering. This time they're still layered, but with this softer style of music his weak vocals stick out horribly.

He has a great voice, just horrible technique. Try singing along to a Fear Factory album with just the clean vocals, doing it exactly like he does. Your voice will hurt, because his technique is damaging to the voice. Fear Factory would still be nothing without him.

I didn't get an autographed photo when I ordered the vinyl and cd, and my order was like, 50 something. Bastards.

Are you guys serious? Burton has some of the BEST clean vocals. Just listen to a song like "timelessness". Just shows exactly what hes capable of.

Cannot wait to check this out. I luv burtons voice.

Damn, you guys on here simply suck. If it's not heavy as fuck, then it "sucks." AOTW sounds to me like Fear Factory's Timelessness. It's fucking great, it sounds good. Burton has a very Genuine voice. It's ok to listen to different music people. Fuck.

Burt's clean vocals on Timelessness prove his clean vocals are amazing?

Ever see him sing Timelessness live? Ever? Eh?

Exactly. Amazing what you can do with a computer and a pro tools rig.

I do hope this lets him express his clean stuff sepeartely from FF, I dug the claen stuff and all but sometimes it felt a bit outta place maybe this can be his creative medium for his more relaxing stuff then fear factory I dig them both, but both seperatly
