Performance The University Orchestra

The University Orchestra performs not only works of the standard art music literature, but new works, especially those of our student composers. Outstanding students appear as concerto soloists, and the personnel consists of music students, students from the University at large, faculty, staff, and members of the metropolitan community.

The orchestra presents several concerts each year, and its members also form smaller ensembles from time to time to perform chamber literature.
