Missouri River High Adventure Base

Feel the power of the mighty Missouri River at your feet as you navigate your canoe through the waters of the South Dakota and Nebraska border.

This wild and scenic section of the Mighty Mo enables us to offer unique programs at every turn. Camp on islands, learn to throw a tomahawk like a pro, horse back riding, archery, black powder muskets, view and help care for endangers species of fish and foul, learn and practice Leave No Trace principles. Visit historic sights from a vantage point few ever experience.

All you need is a small amount of personal gear. We provide everything else, making this a great high adventure destination for groups coming from a distance.

This co-ed friendly program starts at our base camp headquarters at the Lewis & Clark Scout Camp near Yankton, South Dakota. Your week long adventure is a little like a floating summer camp experience, but more.
