Mottram to miss Bullets, Blaze games

31/JAN/2008 – Adelaide 36ers centre Neil Mottram will miss both games this weekend with a shoulder injury sustained during the team's win in Cairns.

The shoulder dislocated when Mottram fell and hit the court, but it appeared to "pop" back in and had the team optimistic about his chances of playing this round.

However, as of yesterday, Mottram could not lift his arm above shoulder height and experienced pain trying to do so.

"Motts has damaged tendons and ligaments," Sixers coach Phil Smyth said. "He's definitely out of this weekend's games and possibly longer than that."

Adelaide host Brisbane on Saturday night before visiting the Gold Coast to meet the Blaze on Sunday.
