Kristen Alderson began playing the role of Starr Manning in March 1998. Starr is the charmingly precocious daughter of Blair Cramer and Todd Manning, who is following in her parents' footsteps when it comes to manipulation and bad behavior.

Ms. Alderson began her show business career at age five, after enjoying a film about the making of Annie. She subsequently landed the role of Molly in the Broadway production of Annie, and eventually went on tour with the show. The talented youngster then joined One Life to Live as feisty Starr.

Ms. Alderson attends high school in New York City with her younger brother, Eddie, who plays OLTL's Matthew Buchanan. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family when she is not juggling school and work.
