Drew Barrymore is known for a lot of things, one of them being that at the age of seven she became the youngest person to ever host Saturday Night Live.
Barrymore was born with acting and Hollywood flowing through her veins. As the granddaughter of the legendary actor John Barrymore and actress Dolores Costello, and the grand-neice of Lionel and Ethel Barrymore, Drew's future was practically assured even before her birth. However, before she was a teen she had also inherited some of the Barrymore clan's more-notorious habits; namely alcohol and drug abuse.
But before the shaky years started, she rocketed to fame as Gertie in Steven Speilberg's classic film, "E.T." Though other roles soon followed, she was sidelined through most of the '80s due to personal problems. But she made a strong comeback in the 90s with a string of hits, including "Never Been Kissed” and the successful "Charlie's Angels" franchise, which she also co-produced, not to mention her many SNL appearances.
