Heyy Greg, sorry to bother you but i just wanted to ask a few questions
1) The three summer serials will be about the Hagah, OOMN-BOM War, and Vultraz-Mazeka correct? 2) Have you chosen which will be the story, blog and podcast, if so could you tell us? 3) Can you reveal which one of them Axonn will appear in? 3b) Will he be a main character of that serial or just appear? Thanks Greg 1) Correct 2) No, not yet, haven't chosen 3) I think he is going to be in the OOMN-BOM one. Looks like we have an idea of who the visitor is gonna be now |

I'm excited for these serials. Heck, we may even see OoMN/BoM battles! And it'll be good to have more on the Hagah. These serials are answering a lot of questions. That was a good idead back in 07.

Sounds like the new serials are going to be exciting. It seems likely that the BoM will find out about the OoMN before the end of the BoM vs. OoMN serial.

QUOTE Hi GregF, Some questions: 1. Could Mata Nui stop the Ignika's countdown? 2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you told us the Toa Mahri would appear in one of the summer serials, is it in: A) Toa Hagah (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Vultraz - Mazeka C) OoMN - BoM 3. Sentrakh was dispatched to Voya Nui to kill the Piraka, now that they're gone, what's he up to now? 4. Have you seen the set Mazeka by now, if so, can you tell me what kind of Matoran he is? (Le-Matoran, Matoran of Sonics etc.) 5. When is the next comic out? (May?) Thanks. 1) Yes, by restoring balance to the universe 2) OOMN-BOM 3) Most likely went back to Odina 4) No, I have not. Normally, store exclusive sets don't get displayed in our showroom 5) July Pitty, I thought the next comic would be in May, too bad. QUOTE QUOTE Dear Greg, I have questions, 1. If hydraxon is only good at combat, how come he isn't easily overcome by the number of runners in the Pit if they work together? 2. Would it be possible for Artkaha to make another object in DM that can take away Tuyet's power? 3. Is DM Artakha evil? 4. Why doesn't Krika tell Teridax that Miserix is still alive in DM? 5. Is TSO in hiding right now? 6. Are the destinies in DM changed for each individual if it is an alternative universe? 7. Is there an alternative universe for everything? Like if Lesovikk didn't fail his team? 8. What is the difference between a takanuva shadow hand and a makuta shadow hand? 9. If the makuta are letting the Nuva win, why did they come close to shadow leeching Lewa? 10. Is the substance that transforms bohrok into kal connected in a way to energized protodermis? 11. Will we ever find out about the mutagen, like where it came from? 12. How does Karda Nui give energy to the universe? 13. Why would "destiny have changed" if Vamprah had seen Matoro? (quote from legends #9) Thanks! 1) Cause they don't work together, #1, and he is REALLY good at combat, #2. Same way that Batman doesn't get beaten just because his villains work together. He's too good. 2) Why would he want to do that? 3) No 4) Because it would mean admitting to Teridax that he disobeyed orders. Teridax would then execute him. 5) In DM? 6) In many cases, yes 7) If you believe the physics theory this story is based on, yes 8) Makuta shadow hand would be more powerful and have greater range 9) Because they get carried away at times, since their natural instinct is to kill Toa 10) No 11) A lot of info is already out there on this, but I don't see anything gained by giving chapter and verse. I think as the story goes along you will be able to figure it out for yourself. 12) Can't answer it 13) Simple. One, if he had seen him, he might have guessed what was coming and found cover. Or, he might have reacted by reflex and killed Matoro before he could use the mask. |

QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE Hey Greg. I just have a few small questions: 1. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, if Mata Nui was a 10 in terms of power, where would DM Tuyet be? 2. Were all the members of Lhikan's team Toa of the six main elements? 3. In terms of appearance, how different does the Lesovikk in our universe currently look compared to his pre-mutated form? He had to look similar enough that Sarda could recognize him. Thanks 1) Well below him. Tuyet has the power of about 200 Toa or so. But we had more than 300 Toa in Metru Nui during the Toa-DH war, so hundreds of Toa running around is not unusual and certainly doesn't approach the power level of Mata Nui. 2) I believe so 3) He didn't seem to me to look all that mutated in set form, beyond the tubes 1. Do you know if you could give a number? Thanks I really prefer not to rate things like this. Not really anything new. This post has been edited by Family Guy: Apr 19 2008, 03:35 PM |

QUOTE QUOTE Hi Greg, great work on the web serials, loving Federation of Fear. Anyway, i have a question involving Icarax. If Icarax were to find Voporak and go into his aging field, would he turn back to antidermis much faster? Thanks Good question -- time would certainly pass more quickly for him, but he would also be aging at the same time - so depending on a Makuta's natural lifespan, he might wind up too old for it to do him any good |

I kind of assume he enjoys it when we take facts, and draw a good conclusion from them (such as the Blade Burrower Map), rather than the "zomg the Bionicle story won't be in their universe next year it's gonna be in ours" kinda guesses.

QUOTE QUOTE Hi Greg Some questions: 1- If a Makuta is in his antidermis form, could he turn liqued? 2- Are the Mistika Makuta still antidermis in armor? b- Makuta armor? 3- If Roodaka mutated a Makuta with her spinner, could the Makuta shapeshift back to his original form? 4- Did you already decided wich mask you are going to give to Miserix? 5- How did those Zyglak came to KN? b- What happened to them after their defeat at the hands of Kopaka? 6- Where does the fight between Kardas and the Mahri happen? In the City? b- If it happens in the City: What about the Matoran? c- Will it happen in a serial, book, short story? d- If it's a serial: Which one? 7- Do Zyglak also have inner light and Shadow? b- Same for Frostelus? Also on a side note: Are you planning to introduce a Toa of Ligtning (Who is alive) in the story, since it's a popular element it could bring up a lot of readers. 1) No 2) Yes 2b) Yes 3) No. 4) Nope. 5) No zyglak ever came to Karda Nui. That's a legend. 6) I may not show the battle at all, I may not have room. But yes, it would take place in Metru Nui, just as the long-ago fight with the Kanohi Dragon did. The Matoran will just have to stay out of the way. 7) Yes 8) Not at the moment, no. |

Hi Greg, I just have a few questions I've thought of.
1.) Would you say the Southern Continent is pretty densely populated, or mostly wilderness? 2.) What would you say the total population, counting the Mahri/Voya Nui Matoran is on the Southern Continent? 3.) Is every Matoran on the Southern Continent one of Khazani's 'Fixed' Matoran? 4.) Sorry, I was never that clear on this...Do the Matoran on the SC remember their lives before Khazani? 5.) If they do, why don't they attempt to return to their respective homes? 6.) How many Matoran did the Nuva save in Karzhani? 7.) Are Makuta tasked with creating every single Rahi? I mean, there are thousands out there. Do the Makuta have to make them one at a time? 8.) Are the Makuta still provided Rahi for the main Universe, or are they just concentrating on their own experiments? 9.) Are there any Makuta based in Destral right now? 10.) Will we ever find out what 'moves' Destral? 11.) Does the Adaptable Armour have a 'default' form? 11a.) If so, under what circumstance would it be in this default form? 12.) Would the AA adapt to allow the Nuva to survive under water? 13.) Can the AA 'break' to a sense where it stopped transforming? 14.) Are the Nuva suspicious that the Makuta havn't blasted them into atoms? 1) I think it's a mix of the two, sort of like South America. 2) No idea, I don't worry about things like that. 3) No, by no means. There were many thousands of Matoran on the southern continent when the fixed Matoran arrived. The entire continent is not populated by Karzahni's test subjects. 4) Yes, they do. 5) Would you want to go back to someplace where they sent you away to get fixed? 6) I don't have an exact number for you 7) Once they have figured out how to make a particular one, it is probably possible to mass produce them. You simply make a lot of the virus. 8) No, they still make Rahi as they feel the need. 9) Yes 10) No plans to reveal that at the moment 11) This is a thorny issue. Logically, I wanted the default form to look like the Nuva's original armor. The problem is it won't get drawn that way -- if I show them off of Karda Nui, the artist will still have to draw the 2008 sets. 12) Probably, with some restrictions. It will not, for example, protect you from mutagen 13) Yes 14) Yes |

Is the Kal substance possibly pit mutagen? 2a. a Makuta virus? Thanks for your time! -Prototoa 1-1a) No, not at this time. You have seen all the 2008 sets and we are not in the Matoran universe next year, so those masks would not be relevant. 2) Can't answer it |

QUOTE Hi Mr. Farshtey, I only have two questions this time, 1. Are there any plans to release a mask of intangibility in future sets? 1a. mask of possibilities? 2. Is the Kal substance possibly pit mutagen? 2a. a Makuta virus? Thanks for your time! -Prototoa 1-1a) No, not at this time. You have seen all the 2008 sets and we are not in the Matoran universe next year, so those masks would not be relevant. 2) Can't answer it So we might not see masks at all next year..... I would hate if we didnt have masks |

I think it's more likely that there's no old masks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I agree with TTW, there might simply be no existing masks.

Hi Greg, hope you're doing fine I have already sent you some of these questions, but seems like they have been deleted... well anyways, here are they, among some new ones: 1)If I understand well, if the Hagah are now protecting the Vortixx...that means the duty of the Toa isn't just protecting matoran, but every single being in the universe? Or are they just acting because of pure altruism? Or perhaps...interest? (the destruction of Xia may well affect the entire BIONICLE universe, right)? (Mmmm...kind of a wierd question, I'm sorry) 2)Will the fate of Lesovikk and Sarda be explored in some of the summer serials? It just seems like a mess to forget entirely about these characters...kind of sad.. 3)Ok...in the entire world, as of now, there are only 51 toa, with krakua, the Teridax hagah, the nuva, the mahri, takanuva, the first toa, lesovikk and some other defected toa hagah among them...Now, most of them, if not all (the Teridax Hagah, th Mahri, the Nuva) "live" in Metru Nui (except for Krakua, who works for the Oomn, but its highly doubtful that other Toa would do it). The question is: where do the other Toa live? Are they something like exiles (I mean, like how the Jedi hid themselves after the Purge)? Or are there actually other "rebellious" islands like Metru Nui, where the Toa can live without problems, and protect the matoran? 4)As there aren't many toa, matoran must be very unprotected against threats. Who protects themnow? Do they hire Dark Hunters? Or do they protect themselves entirely (like the Voya Nui Matoran)... Best Regards, Merovingian107 1) Well, if you're a Toa, quite apart from the Vortixx -- do you really want the Kanohi Dragon and the Tahtorak on a rampage, especially since the KD can fly and leave Xia? The Toa would act to stop them no matter where they were, Metru Nui, Xia, or a completely barren island. 2) Both characters got a lot of screen time last year -- Lesovikk got his own serial for half the year. It may or may not be possible to focus on him again this year, as I have a lot of other old characters I need to deal with and only half a year to do it in. 3) There are a number of islands where Matoran still work and thrive and are protected by the Toa. The Makuta have not wasted energy trying to conquer individual islands since the Visorak invasion, because if their Plan works, it won't be necessary to spend resources ruling every single island. 4) If they have no Toa, they generally protect themselves. The presence of too many DH would attract BOM attention, since the BOM is at war with the DH. |

3)Will the toa nuvas armor change back to the old toa nuva look with there old weapons if they were in there own envirment and if it does say Kopaka was in ko metru and then walked into ta metru would Kopaka armor change so it can adapt to extream heat or something like that? I don't think it will, because you have to remember that this is all new armour, so we have no clue what its normal form is. -toalord |

I think Greg sees it as their original armor. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I personally see it as being very similar to the old Nuva armor but much more advanced (similar to how a new model of a car will share some features with the old models but it still definately looks different).

Yeah, he probrably imagines them the same but with the new colours. Imagine a Lime Green Lewa Nuva 2003 and an Orange Pohatu ahahahaha |

Those kids traveled in some cases three or four hours to see me, they deserved a treat that was just for them. 4) I can't predict this 4b) There are no plans to do OOMN sets. You have seen all the summer sets for this year, and we aren't in this universe next year. 5) Would depend on how he died. If he got, say, blown up, there wouldn't be any antidermis for Brutaka to absorb. This post has been edited by djlee3112: Apr 21 2008, 02:28 AM |
