St. Norbert Championship Gear
And Then There Were Eight
With UMass-Dartmouth and UW-Stout exiting the tournament, the eight remaining teams are beginning to get a whiff of that intoxicating national championship aroma. First on the docket this evening is a match-up of two elite teams from the two most dominant conferences as Plattsburgh and Hobart square off at 7 p.m. EDT. A game with similar intrigue is set to face off in upstate New York as Trinity continues its improbable run as they pay a visit to the elite squad from Elmira. Tim Costello and Scott Biggar have the scoop. Teaming up once again, the cohorts also have the skinny on Manhattanville as they take on Norwich in the third NCAA Quarterfinal. And finally out West, the nation's number one team finally takes the ice as St. Thomas travels to DePere, Wis. to battle the Green Knights of St. Norbert. By night's end, the final four will be set.
