The season in college may be over with Boston College's third national championship, but the season is hardly over for a number of veterans of the college game. The U.S. will compete starting May 2 at the IIHF World Championship in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and players with college ties dot the American roster — including its three leaders, as former Princeton forward Jeff Halpern was named captain Monday, while Mark Stuart, formerly of Colorado College, and North Dakota veteran Zach Parise will be alternate captains. ... Team USA had its lone tuneup Sunday in a 5-1 win over Sweden at Portland, Maine, with Frozen Four hero Nathan Gerbe scoring the fourth U.S. goal and assisting on the third. ... Question of the Week

Do you like the chances of Boston College playing in their fourth consecutive championship game next season?
Yes, absolutely.
Yes, but only if Nathan Gerbe doesn't go pro.
Not really--this season's tournament showed how much more parity there is in college hockey--they will not get through the regionals.
No, definitely not: Now that they have won it all, they probably won't even make the tournament next year.
I don't know / No opinion.
