Alan Dale's not-so-nice Neighbours

Aussie actor Alan Dale has hit out at Neighbours producers, or at least the Grundy (Fremantle) Organisation, over the poor treatment he had during his days on the soapie.

According to Britain's Daily Mirror he is particularly angry over the financial remuneration.

It's the reason he didn't participate in the 20th Anniversary reunion.

"They're making a TV show out of it and there'll be a documentary of course, and they're making money out of that.

"They'll sell it all over the world, make millions, and still not a dollar for us."

"We didn't discover, for example, that the show was a hit in England until it was on the front page of the local paper. They didn't tell us because they didn't want us to know, because they might have to pay us more," he said.

Dale appeared in Ramsay Street betwen 1985 and 1993 but has since made a name for himself in the US on The OC and Ugly Betty.

It should be pointed out that producers of the show at the time Dale was involved are no longer attached. However, it sounds like Dale still has a beef with the production company.
