IL Staff Pick ’Em, Week 11
The last week of the regular season does not mean the last week of the picks, but starting next week things will ramp up with a new formula. In the meantime, Week 9’s successes did not carry over to last week by and large, particularly for Brand, who lost his stranglehold on the top spot.
Also, welcome to our second guest picker of the year. Entering the austere company of theJman is Kyle Harrison, whose caveat “I’m not even going to begin to act like I’ve watched ton’s of college lacrosse this season, but I did a little research…” falls on deaf ears in the cutthroat world of IL Staff Pick ’Em.
Picks and standings after jump.

Austere:
1 a: stern and cold in appearance or manner b: somber, grave
2: morally strict, ascetic
3: markedly simple or unadorned
How about, “Entering the esteemed company of theJman”?

No, i’m gonna stick with austere. I don’t see you wearing much in the way of adornments.

That’s true.
When you got all this *makes circular motion around face w/ hand*, really no need to dress it up

I was gonna go with “Your mom.”, but Johnny J was slacking on the reply. And Man Rule #36 clearly states:
A man must confirm, through second hand information or direct interaction with, that another Man’s mother is indeed living and they are on good speaking terms prior to proceeding with a “Your mom.” rebuttal

Now, was that hand motion the ‘I can’t damage this property’ gesture, or was it more of the DeShawn Stevenson ‘I can’t feel my face’ move? Inquiring minds want to know.

Dick Stockton, in a previous broadcast this series, mistakenly said that DeShawn Steveson’s “can’t feel my face” gesture meant, ‘I’m invisible, you can’t see me on the court.’
