UnionHistory.info, a new site with digitised photo and document resources from Trade Union history.
The history of the Trades Union Congress. These three chapters were commissioned for the TUC's centenary in 1968:

The TUC archives are held at the Modern Records Centre at the University of Warwick Library. The archive contains files from c1920 - 1990 comprising of correspondence, internal and external documents, minutes, reports, printed material and press statements.

TUC pays tribute to Len Murray
Lord Murray of Epping Forest, the former TUC General Secretary has died at the age of 82. He led the TUC through the turbulent years from 1973 to 1984.

About Congress House and the Bevin Room
Congress House, headquarters of the TUC since 1958, was constructed as a memorial to the sacrifices made by trade unionists in two World Wars. Above the entrance a bronze sculpture by Bernard Meadows represents the spirit of trade unionism and Jacob Epstein's Pieta dominates the interior courtyard. Congress House is now listed as a building of special architectural interest.
