Posted by Scott Heisel on 07-May-08 @ 11:44 PM

Long Island rockers Taking Back Sunday have finally announced a replacement for guitarist/vocalist Fred Mascherino, who quit the band last October. Taking over for Mascherino, and as guitarist/vocalist No. 3 for TBS, is Matt Fazzi, formerly of Facing New York. The band had this to say about the new addition:
"[Fazzi] is talented and versed in many musical instruments including guitar and has a pretty sweet voice to boot. He's going to bring his unique talent and style to the mix to compliment and continue to build what we've worked so hard on for the past few years."
You can see the first interview with Fazzi below. Taking Back Sunday's new album should be out later this year.
