On Broadway! - Sunday, October 14, 2007 - 7:30 PM

On Broadway! is a sparkling revue of show-stopping moments from the Broadway stage. Dazzling choreography, dynamic music arrangements and a virtual parade of costumes fill the "Grand Staircase" centerpiece of the colorful stage. Their live musicians support energetic singers and dancers as they present delightful memories in song and dance.

ACT ONE features favorite moments of song and dance from early Broadway musicals such as A Chorus Line, Guys and Dolls, 42nd Street, West Side Story, The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Annie Get Your Gun and more. ACT TWO celebrates today's popular musicals with song selections from Wicked, Mamma Mia, Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and Cats.

"They say the neon lights are bright"... and "magic will be in the air" in the newest stage extravaganza, On Broadway!

Davide Cabassi - Friday, November 16, 2007 - 7:30 PM

2005 Van Cliburn Competition finalist, Davide Cabassi made his orchestral debut at the age of thirteen with the RAI Symphony Orchestra in Milan. Since then, he has played rousing concerts in Austria, China, France, Germany, Japan, Portugal, Russia, Scandinavia, and Switzerland, highlighted by appearances in Salzburg's Mozarteum, the Gasteig in Munich, and Rachmaninoff Hall in Moscow.

After graduating from Milan's Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory, Cabassi was selected by the International Piano Foundation to study with greats including Karl Ulrich Schnabel, Dmitri Bashkirov, and Leon Fleisher. He is prominently featured in the current documentary, In the Heart of Music, aptly titled for this brilliant pianist's heartfelt, passionate renderings.

The Dallas Morning News calls him "an expressive pianist with a distinctive personality."

Fiesta Folklorico - Friday, February 8, 2008 - 7:30 PM

Fiesta Folklorico is a vibrant celebration of the artistic heritage of Latin America, Spain and Portugal. Developed by San Antonio's acclaimed band Los Caporales, this colorful, cultural journey showcases brilliant musical style, technique and interpretation of familiar tunes in a one-of-a kind performance setting.

Thousands of people have enjoyed Fiesta Folklorico at award-winning theme park, Fiesta Texas, at numerous Las Vegas appearances, and at St. Paul, Minnesota's historic Ordway Theater. Featuring six Folkloric and Flamenco dancers, accompanied by Los Corporales' eight Grammy-nominated musicians, this full-spectrum spectacular broadens the borders of traditional Mariachi.

Quatrocelli - Friday, April 4, 2008 - 7:30 PM

These four daring cellists invite their audience on a stylistic "cross-country" adventure. Since 1997, they have been touring across the U.S. and Europe, weaving elements of classical, pop and folklore into a mesmerizing mixture of music. Their show is more than a collection of great songs; it's a complete performance concept.

The focus is sound, and it casts an almost hypnotic spell on the audience. And while there is never any doubt of these award-winning players' impressive abilities, it is the light, up-beat mood that leaves the strongest impression. This is music-making quite outside the conventions of classical concert-giving.

"Everything becomes music in their hands," according to German magazine Das Orchester.

Harry James Orchestra - Sunday, April 20, 2008 - 2:30 PM

The Harry James Orchestra continues the tradition of mellow arrangements and fine rhythmic playing that first made it famous. Now under the direction of James' lead trumpet virtuoso, Fred Radke, the orchestra continues to play worldwide in both major venues and special "invitation only" performances.

Fred Radke's style of playing is so similar to James' that listeners often cannot discern the difference. With countless credits including The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Lennon Sisters, Connie Stevens, The Pied Pipers (and the list goes on and on), Radke is one of the few remaining original luminaries keeping the panache of that brilliant era alive.
