Stanford Eating Clubs

Welcome to the Stanford Eating Clubs!

Nick Peters

Director of Student Organized Services

Nick Peters

Nick Peters has worked at the Stanford Eating Clubs since 1991. In 1995, he founded Student Organized Services to help administer support for student management on the Row. He earned his BA in Economics at Stanford '94 and MBA in '05 at the University of Phoenix. Nick is a master brewer, armchair philosopher, a musician, and studio engineer. He plays in two active bands: Soul Patch and Seconds On End. He runs Toothless Monkey Studios and would live in a recording studio if he could, but like most aspiring artists, he works in food service. ;-) Two key maxims for Nick: "we are all connected" and "the only constant is change".

Zac Sargeant

General Manager

Zac Sargeant

Zac Sargeant joined the eating clubs in the Winter of 2005. He began his career in food services as a restaurant manager in 1998. Finding that he had a passion for food, wine, and people, Zac found himself rapidly progressing in his field, and has since managed at five different restaurants all over the Bay Area. Zac also dabbled in the wine industry for a year as the Assistant Wine Maker for Leal Vineyards. These days Zac has settled down a bit, recently getting married, and now lives in San Carlos with his wife Liz and their cat, Sierra. In his spare time you will find him surfing in Santa Cruz, snowboarding in Tahoe, or skydiving in Hollister.

Natasha Chu

Assistant General Manager

Natasha

Natasha comes from too many places but has lived the last 8 years of her life in Boulder, CO. Most ironically she picked up rock climbing here at Stanford instead of back at home. She's a freshman who's planning to study Hum Bio and Chinese but is so indecisive that she could very well change in the next 24 hours. She loves the snow and thought the three winter snowstorms that hit Colorado in December were glorious. After all, who doesn't love fluffy stuff to one's waist?

Boggs

Eating Associate Liaison

Boggs

Brian Boggs is a Co-Term student studying for his Masters in Mechanical Engineering and has been a member of the Eating Clubs since 2003. He enjoyed the food and social atmosphere of the clubs during his stay in Toyon and joined on as the manager of El Toro during the Spring of his sophomore year. He has since managed El Cuadro and now works as the Eating Associate Liaison and lives in Mirrielees. Brian is dedicated to the history and preservation of the clubs. He is a California Cowboy and enjoys traversing the seven seas of Lake Lagunita. In the hours he should have spent sleeping, Brian has driven across the country in the Stanford Solar Car, spent a summer working in Switzerland, worked for the Department of Defense, skydived, and learned to drive stick while parking other people's cars as a valet.
