Alanya Sees 30% Fall in Scandinavian Tourists
A 30 percent fall was recorded in the number of Scandinavian tourists visiting top Turkish tourist destination Alanya in the first two months of 2006.


Turkish tourism, which has been badly affected by the recent bird flu outbreaks and the protests concerning the Mohammed cartoons, saw a decrease of up to 30 percent in Scandinavian tourists who constitute a considerable percentage of the total tourist arrivals in Turkey.
