Brazil Fugitive police inspector named as leading suspect in O Dia torture case, another suspect arrested
6.06.2008 - A convicted criminal and a police inspector have been named as the leaders of a militia operating in the Rio de Janeiro favela of Batan that kidnapped and tortured three employees of the O Dia newspaper on 14 May. The first has been arrested, the second is on the run.
