To initiate the procedures of service; to be evaluated of the patient's medical data; to be put on the waiting list of the patient's name. It does not cover your travel costs, hotel stay, interpreter fees, meals, etc.

What is the success rate after the transplant?

This depends on the patient's condition, but the transplant operation skills are very much mature nowadays in a qualified hospital. Generally, 90% on average.

What are the initial procedures while arriving?

To do the transplant, you have to first go through a medical examination in the hospital in China , including H.L.A. matching. It is a must to do this examination and better to be done as soon as possible. Once your data are set, the hospital will start to search all over China for an organ that matches your H.L.A.. So, the in-hospital examination is compulsory in order to proceed with and gear up the transplant.

What is the recovery time?

Younger patients are normally checked out of the hospital 2 - 3 weeks after the transplant. It depends on your physical strength. When you have recovered well enough to walk by yourself you can return to your home country. Once back home you need to do a check up in a major hospital in your area, after that you can fully recover in your home.
