SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT ACQUIRES REMAKE RIGHTS TO SEVEN DAYS

Los Angeles, CA November 14, 2007 — Summit Entertainment announced today that it has acquired the remake rights to SEVEN DAYS from Prime Entertainment. SEVEN DAYS is a Korean film featured during this year's American Film Market which is set for its theatrical release in Korea on November 15th. Seo-yull Lee and Shang-han Shin of Prime will executive produce the remake along with Vincent Maraval and Agnès Mentre of Wild Bunch. Erik Feig, Summit Entertainment's President of Production stated, SEVEN DAYS begins with one of the strongest premises we have seen and keeps you on the edge of the seat until one of the best twist endings. It is a non-stop thrill ride with a completely relatable story and hero and we cannot wait to make the Hollywood version. Again, Michael Schaefer, Summit's VP of acquisitions, swooped in to conquer before the film hit the rest of the town."

As she searches desperately for clues to her daughter's whereabouts, Jiyeon must simultaneously work to solve the murder case before time runs out.

Michael Schaefer, Summit's Vice President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions brought the studio the highly sought after film.
