One problem.
Doctor Who is traditionally a Saturday show. The ABC have completely uprooted the meaning of Doctor Who so that they can show some rubbish about a family who move to Africa or something. Shame on you, ABC. :|
P.S I'm glad you've finally announced it! smile

in the past the abc has shown doctor who on saturdays, sundays, and mondays through to fridays.

so the idea that it has to be shown on saturday because it's "traditional" I think is a little out of date, if not inaccuarte.

sundays at 7:30pm is a much better timeslot for the show as it's real alternative to the dreck on the commercial channels.

and there's no point wasting the Doctor up against the football on saturdays. JMHO. smile

Yeah. It's a saturday night tradition in our house, what's up with that! It had better be on at 7:30, don't forget ABC kids watch this show and sunday's a school night.

SUNDAY glasses

Can you say rating loss, slowly, because thats what its gonna be, it'll drop in the number of people who watch it like a lead weight...

Why not move the other series and keep the saturday time and date ABC apathetic

When everyones at home on a saturday and can watch some people will be out on a sunday night and may miss it!!! apathetic

What's the problem with Sunday? Not sure the Who fan base will be drawn away by 60 Minutes or Big Brother/other reality trash.

I'm glad about the schedule change - no longer have to stay in on a Saturday night.
