Independent Syndication: A guide to our services

Tuesday, 27 November 2007

The Independent's syndication department looks after the needs of those organisations that wish to license or re-use content from The Independent and the Independent on Sunday newspapers and their archives. We are responsible for the protection, management and sales of all whose copyright is operated by The Independent and the Independent on Sunday.

We also, on occasion, look after content from the wealth of titles that Independent News & Media publishes in Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. To find out more about our global interests please click here.

If you wish to license content from any of our global titles please do contact us directly.

Whatever the requirement, our syndication department can provide the best content from the UK's two truly independent newspapers. We supply news stories, features, pictures and puzzles to clients ranging from international magazines to local news websites, from advertising websites to academic publishers. We understand the needs of our existing and potential client base and can give you a decision almost immediately depending on your requirements.

Please click on the links below for more detail of the services we provide.

Independent News Service

Available 24 hours a day, 364 days a year, our news service comprises cutting-edge stories, opinion pieces and comment from our award-winning stable of journalists.

Independent voices, such as Robert Fisk, give you the real facts from around the world on the subjects and topics that not only dominate the news but also the background and depth behind the story.

As a subscriber to our news service, you will receive an individually-tailored package of stories sent via a pre-arranged delivery mechanism of your choice on the evening before we publish, allowing you to put breaking stories on your front page.

Our News Service differentiates itself from other services in the ability to not only serve you with hand-picked articles from the following days publication but also to allow you to view and use all Independent copyright material from the same publication - circa 110 articles per day from all sections of the paper and its supplements.

Please contact Teila Blackmore (syndication@independent.co.uk , 020 7005 2198) to learn how you could benefit from the The Independent & The Independent on Sunday's news service.

Magazines & Newspapers usage

We can syndicate celebrity interviews, opinion pieces, fashion articles, in-depth news analysis... a huge wealth of our content is available to be syndicated to other publications. Wherever you are and whatever your interest, The Independent will have features suited to your needs.
