Complete File Set - All the files in the Windows 98 DDK (includes each of the DDK Segments). Select this option for single download of all files.
DDK Segments - Sets of individual components grouped into download files. Click individual items in the DDK segment lists to download selected components.

Note: For information about creating WDM Audio, WDM DVD, and drivers for IEEE 1394 devices and for additional information on Modems, see the Windows 2000 DDK.

Download Instructions for DDK Segments or Components:

 1. All files for this build of the DDK must be placed together in a unique directory. If another build of the DDK is used, it must be placed in another directory. Additional files can be downloaded later, but only files from the same build can be placed together in the same directory.

2. The following files must be in placed within the directory for the DDK to function:
    Set-up and Related Files (98SETUP.EXE)
    All of the Build Environment files (see below)

3. Extract the CAB files within the directory you have created.

4. After all files are downloaded and have been extracted, run SETUP.EXE to install the DDK and working environment.
