The Silver Beaver Award is presented by the Council for distinguished service to young people and is among the most prestigious of all awards. Since Boy Scout leadership is overwhelmingly volunteer, the Boy Scouts of America recognizes the need to acknowledge the invaluable services that men and women render to youth.
Venturing Crew 297 has plans again to build a house for Habitat for Humanity of Omaha. But the members of 297 aren’t enough; we need EVERONE’S help. If you are 16 and over, and can work on a house, we want YOU! You need not be in the Omaha metro area to be a part of the process.
