Tricks of the Trade!

Released just last month, Pokémon Trozei is a new Pokémon puzzle game for the Nintendo DS that features unique graphics, over 380 Pokémon to be Trozeid, and a variety of one- and two-player game modes! Line up four Pokémon in a row with a stylus to make a Trozei and clear them from the screen - then chain together Trozeis of three and then two Pokémon to get extra points! You can even use the versatile Ditto as a substitute for any Pokémon, making it easier to form Trozei combos. But you'll need to move quickly, because once the screen fills up, your game is over!

Learning to play is easy, but part of what makes Trozei so engrossing is that gamers of all levels will find something here to challenge their skills and keep them entertained. When you battle head-to-head with another player, each Trainer can choose a preferred set of 5 Pokémon for their screen. These are also the Pokémon that will drop onto the other player's screen after you complete a Trozei chain, so if you pick different sets, your opponent may end up scrambling to Trozei 10 types of Pokémon instead of 5!

In Adventure Mode, you'll play the part of Lucy Fleetfoot, a Special Operations League agent on a mission to rescue Pokémon from the Poké Ball-snatching Phobos Battalion. As you uncover more of the Battalion's Poké Ball storehouses, you'll encounter stages where rare Pokémon appear more often than usual - but these Pokémon also disappear from the screen much faster! It'll take quick work to line them up for a Trozei before they vanish. But time won't be the only obstacle you'll face!

You'll also meet the five Generals of the Phobos Battalion, including the pesky General Buzz, each with an array of tricks at their disposal. The Jammer Flash turns all the Pokémon into silhouettes, and you'll have to make a Trozei to return the screen to normal. Then there's the Jammer Ball - this gray sphere can only be Trozeid out of the way with the help of a Ditto! Some Generals, like Buzz, rain Jammer Balls down on your screen, while others will knock Pokémon to one side and replace some of them with Jammer Balls. You'll find there's one very crafty opponent who likes to snatch Pokémon right off your screen and replace them with Jammer Balls, too!

But never fear, you've got some tricks of your own. Keep up the Trozei chain action and even the Phobos Battalion Generals will be stunned, which prevents them from using their Jammer techniques. And in any play mode, if you Trozei more Pokémon than you need - line up five Pokémon instead of four, for instance - a Ditto will drop from the top of the screen. That can come in very handy!

This variety of challenges and gameplay nuances keeps Pokémon Trozei constantly entertaining, but you don't have to take our word for it - visit the official game site, Pokemontrozei.com , for demos, downloads, and more!
