QB Carter Arrested for Possession of Marijuana
Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Quincy Carter is in trouble with the law again. The Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings signal caller has been charged with second offense possession marijuana, which is a felony.
Carter was booked into the Shreveport city jail early Friday morning. He was later transferred to the Caddo Correctional Center.
Carter's NFL career reached its peak when he was the starting QB for America's Team, but later fizzled out amidst allegations of drug use. He appeared to be back on the right track, having an outstanding 2007 season with the arena football franchise in Bossier City. He was under a one-year contract with the Wings, which expired in August.
