Worst dressed at Eurovision 2008
Andorra: Gisela wins Barbara Dex 2008
The 2008 Barbara Dex Award has seen a landslide victoy for Gisela from Andorra. Her metallic outfit and strange headdress was, according to the voters, the ugliest this year.
At far distance second was Ishtar from Belgium. Third was Elvis-lookalike, Rodolfo Chiciliquatre from Spain.

So I apparently stepped your toe. Too bad for you. I know very well how I dress and you don´t know and it´s got nothing to do with how Kalomira dressed. I´m not Kalomira, you´re not Kalomira. So why make this personal unless you were out of arguments? I think Kalomira looked awful. That´s my opinion. Too bad for you if you can´t handle it.
dear Marcus a, why don't you see the way you are dressed? I'm sure kalomira was dressed much better than you are and both her dresses were perfect... i agree that Andorra was the worst-dressed this year... but Sweden wasn't so gr8 either.. usually when you wear such a dress it's because you want to give emphasis to your movements and dancing and she just walked and shook her arms... she could have worn a much more beautiful dress with a little bit of colour for a change... if her dress had a warm colour then the effect they had applied at the beginning of the song would also be more successful!
Andorra was the worst dressed, I agree and one of the worst songs this year. Pity, because Andorra sent great songs in the past, this year I was disappointed.

Gisela had a bad outfit but I don´t think she deserved the Barbara Dex award. It should have been awarded to Estonia, Spain, Bosnia, Macedonia, Lithuania, Greece or Latvia. They all looked hideous.
Yes, the costume was a bit over the top. A win is a win, I guess.
Great song, great singer, and the song would have passed to the final if she did not have a group of discordant stumblebums singing and dancing behind her.
Quite how she got 5 times more than Laka - who looked like he hadn't washed his hair since March - is astounding. She was only wearing a giant peg on her head, after all.
Why did Poland only get 8 votes? They should have gotten 800 votes. By far the worst dress(ed) of the evening!

Maybe your view of kitsch is men dressed in letherpants but quite frankly thats not an unusual piece of clothing in the world of hardrock/heavymetal. If any artist or band was dressed for the part it was Teräsbetoni! I don´t claim them to be the best dressed but they were certainly not one of the worst (as you pointed out.)

I know that the vocal was horrible too but it's not a voice Contest, people should vote for the song not the vocal performance or show.
Btw Gisela has a great voice but she can't sing in English, if the song would've been sanged in Catalan she would've surely qualifi

Gisela did look like a mountain goat with her weird helmet thing but seriously anyone who dresses up as a cream and strawberry sweet HAS to win the worst dressed competition!

Her song was weak so no complains! Previous Andorran entries were very good.
She was dressed awful but she should've gone to the final. It's a song contest, not a voice or a outfit contest
Happily, this year we had only a few fashion flops, like: Andorra (the big winner, who got my vote); Bosnia, Finland; Estonia; Belgium, Spain, Ireland; UK; France; Latvia; Moldova; Romania, of course and not not forget about Czech Republic... Now that I think, they are quite a few
contrary to what I saw here, I think Slovenia was not so bad... Georgia, Albania and Sweden were not bad, too...Comparring to the fashion kitch like Bosnia, Finland or Andorra... Azerbaijan was very appropriate with the song's idea, the whole angel-devil concept theme, so I don't get it why they got votes...But anyay....

It's a pity we couldn't vote for the presenter. She looked dreadful...
She always has dressed badly. During Operation Triunfo she was one of that worse dressed.
And the live action performance, in the vocal part, was together with those of Czech Republic and Armenia of the worst.
Her song was boring, the stage presentation was boring, and the dress was awful
and the best dress was definetely....greece! lovely outfit!!!
