Forum: NFL Draft
Topic: Cris Carter Names Bengals "Best Draft"!
Member: BUCKEYEMAN56
Posted: April 27, 7:45 p.m.

Message: Cris Carter was asked which team had the best draft. He said, "This is hard to believe, the Cincinnati Bengals." Cris went on to say that we picked up two great recievers, Simpson is very underrated, Caldwell will break the curse of U of Florida receivers being better in college than they were in the NFL, and Rivers will solidify our defense that has been poor for a very long time. This is obviously very good to hear. Also, Michael Smith made the point that 7 out of the 8 NFL Defensive Rookies of the Year in this decade have been LBs, mostly middle LBs. He also picked Rivers or Mayo as his top two rookies to make the biggest impact for their new teams.
