Erdington Business Improvement District

Erdington Town Centre Partnership logo

Following a succesful campaign by Erdington Town Centre Partnership, Businesses in Erdington have voted in favour of becoming a Business Improvement District (BID).

A BID is a partnership between the business community and other local stakeholders to develop and take forward action to benefit the trading environment and the public realm, such as cleanliness, safety, greening and marketing.

Of those businesses voting, 74% voted in favour of the BID,

The BID will generate approximately £100,000 each year for the next five years, which will enable ETCP to enhance cleaner, safer & greener projects, helping to sustain Erdington as a vibrant urban village.

Erdington has become the first local centre in the United Kingdom to achieve this status and it is a great opportunity for the businesses in Erdington to directly influence their trading environment.
