As part of the broadcast of the 2007 World Series of Poker, ESPN produces a segment called "The Nuts," which usually features the antics and lives of poker players away from the felt. Well, if you were watching the other night, you may have caught one of the funniest segments of any show ever put on TV. The subject was prop betting, the task at hand was kicking a field goal and the participants were poker pros Daniel Negreanu, Erick Lindgren, Team Bodog member Josh Arieh and Bill Gazes.

From videos you may have seen around, Erick and Josh are pretty athletic, both enjoy playing golf, basketball and other sports requiring coordination. Daniel is also fairly athletic and is often seen out on the golf course. However, as Erick points out in the video, Bill is not so much coordinated athletically as he's not coordinated athletically at all. Even with an alleged three hours of field-goal-kicking training from an Arena Football player, what happens is one of the most athletically humiliating moments ever caught on ESPN, next to Michigan losing to Appalachian State this weekend. However, the next few seconds of the video is what makes it an instant classic. While laying on the ground (you'll have to watch the video), Bill is hit in the face with a football thrown by a female ESPN intern, talk about getting kicked while you're down. As Bill said in an interview with PokerListings.com, "If 'The Nuts' show was Cirque du Soleil, I was the clown."

Here is the video. Enjoy.
