International Festival of Arts & Ideas
The Arts & Ideas Festival in New Haven, Connecticut, is made up of more than 100 individual events across many venues with several connected themes in multiple genres. To help users browse the information effectively, agency Medium Rare used Flash to develop a neural net–style search navigation called DAISY. Short for the Dynamic Arts & Ideas Search Yielder, DAISY taps into the metadata tags of each event to offer users a visual guide to the festival. In addition to Flash software, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Photoshop were also used to build this site.
