CBB solution For 1L stain make the following: 0.5% Coomassie brilliant blue ( 0.5 g 40% methanol (400 mL) 10% acetic acid (100 ml) milli-Q H2O Dissolve in methanol by stirring for 20 min. let the CBB rest for 15 min and then decant contents into acetic acid. Destaining solution 30% methanol 10% acetic acid
