The government's own Child Exploitation and Online Protection Center, meanwhile, says that a third of children have received unwanted sexual contact online or by text message.

Rebecca Fuchs has secured the UK distribution rights to award-winning parental control software, which was developed in America and alerts parents to untoward activity on the web.
