Weight's World

This season, Doug & Allison Weight are partnering with the Qualy Group of Northwestern Mutual to provide children and families facing cancer and other serious illnesses an opportunity to have a fun night out together at Blues games. In 2002, the Weights started Weight's World, which allows families an opportunity to attend a Blues game at Scottrade Center in a penthouse suite.

Seven area agencies that serve children and families dealing with cancer or other serious illnesses were selected to participate in the program for the 2007-08 season:
  • St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation
  • H.I.S. K.I.D.S.
  • Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital
  • BJC Hospice Pediatric Wings Program
  • National Children’s Cancer Society
  • Friends of Kids with Cancer
  • Our Little Haven
Agencies receive the suite on a rotating basis and are responsible for identifying participants, ensuring adequate adult supervision for each participating child, and distributing tickets.

The Weights and the Qualy Group of Northwestern Mutual provide light appetizers and drinks for each game, and each child attending the game receives a "goodie bag" containing Blues promotional items.
