We're so glad you took the time to stop by the official site of Cub Scout Pack 511. As you explore our site you will learn more about us and the world of Scouting. Our Pack is very active and we serve boys from the Woodridge IL school district (mainly Goodrich, Meadowview and Willow Creek schools) in grades 1 through 5. We are part of the Thunderbird District and Three Fires Council. We would love to hear from you so feel free to drop us an email or stop by one of our Pack events. We have lots of fun and we know you will too. Remember Cub Scouting, is "Where the Adventure Begins..."!

Pack 511 for the 8th consecutive year participated in Woodridge Park District’s annual “Clean up the Parks" event. This year's clean up occurred on Saturday April 12th and while the weather was cold and wet, almost all of the 54 Scouts and family members who signed up still came out and helped with this very rewarding community service activity!! Over the two hours of the event, Scouts and family members were able to really clean up the Cypress Cove sports fields and pond.
As always, many interesting objects were found including many baseballs, softballs, and golf balls.

We Need Heroes!
All of the events and management of our pack is done by parents of pack members. This is an entirely volunteer organization, and without volunteers, we cannot do ANYTHING. We frequently get questions from parents about what the different jobs entail, and how to go about becoming a hero for an event. This information is intended as a "getting started guide" for Heroes.
