Mark Clattenburg will take charge of The FA Community Shield on 10 August.Clattenburg has refereed in the Premier League since 2004 and was the Fourth Official for Portsmouth's Semi-Final victory over West Bromwich Albion in April.

The 33-year-old Northumberland official will be joined by Assistant Referees, Dave Richardson (West Riding FA) and Ian Gosling (Kent FA), with Andre Marriner (Birmingham FA), the Fourth Official.

Portsmouth will compete in the season's traditional curtain-raiser after lifting The FA Cup for the first time since 1939. Nwankwo Kanu's first-half strike was enough to defeat Cardiff City in The Final.
