Is there any way to make Windows XP SP1 detects HD over 137GB ?

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Parameters]
"EnableBigLba"=dword:00000001

There shouldn't be any problems with XP... Maybe your BIOS has to be updated!

My BIOS did support it, but my Windows XP SP1 didn't.
Only after editing the registry, I got the full 160GB.

windows supports it .. just dont have it enabled in the regristry... id really like to see an installer hack that would let you install windows on a >137GB harddrive
