The Outpost Gallifrey Guides section is an extensive and ever-growing resource of Doctor Who information and databases, including complete guides to the television series and its many descendants -- including the BBC Books and Virgin Publishing Doctor Who novels, the Big Finish series of Doctor Who audios, Telos Publishing's novellas and even some of the spinoffs. This section will continue to expand in the near future with additional reference information. Outpost Gallifrey's acclaimed guide to Doctor Who canon and continuity, with every TV story, book, audio, comic, periodical, anthology, spinoff and other story fit into the Doctor's frame of reference, plus detailed notes about each story's placement and other reference material, all in a database format. The new version (4.5, 2005 edition) premiered on August 5, 2005.
A complete index of the lines of fiction that make up the expanded Doctor Who universe: the Big Finish audio series, novels from BBC Books, Virgin Publishing and Telos Publishing, the Bernice Summerfield series, the BBV universe, Magic Bullet's Kaldor City and Faction Paradox audios, and the various Doctor Who anthologies published over the years. Many of the entries include detailed episode synopses, cast lists, story information, writer/director notes, and other details. Formerly Outpost Gallifrey's "Doctor Who Books Guide" and "Doctor Who Audio/Big Finish Audio Guide", now combined in one.
