Bio/Description

For more than ten years, Motion City Soundtrack have been playing their own unique brand of energetic pop-punk on a seemingly never-ending, sold out tour. Their dedication to live performance has allowed them to remain successful in the fickle music industry, selling over half a million albums in the U.S. alone and gaining an impressive international fan base.

In this episode of Rehearsal Space, Motion City Soundtrack members Joshua Cain, Matthew Taylor, and Tony Thaxton discuss how they managed to become successful without being an overnight sensation, the importance of bands helping each other, the disappointment they felt when their second album was leaked before its release, and the type of music career they admire most.
