So you have a developer who created one of the biggest gaming IPs in the past few years with the Call of Duty franchise which reached its peak (so far) in 2007 with the release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. So what is developer Infinity Ward going to do next? A post on the developer's community blog site gives some hints on the superstar developer's future plans.
The post states that Infinity Ward just closed a new contract with its long time publisher Activision and that they have started work on their next (unnamed project). The post stated the new contract has also generated "the possibility of a unique new IP by Infinity Ward, that we'll have complete control over." The post also states that they will be working more towards keeping the community in touch with their future plans via their recently revamped Infinity Ward web site.where they hope will create "an open line of 2-way conversation with our community throughout development and after launch." And of course the developer is also hiring for some new positions so check out the open slots for jobs on the post as well.
